A person having aggregate annual FD interest less than Rs. 10000.

Does he need to mention this amount in other income column of ITR?

yes,u should show it under the head income from other sources while filing ITR

even if this aggregate amount is total interest from more than one bank?

(total annual FD interest < Rs. 10000)

it should de disclosed under income from other source it doesn't matter whether from diff. banks

Interest from FD is chargeable to tax under Other sources.

he have to show income from other sources and he will not get deduction u/s 80TTA as it is applicable for saving bank interest and not on fd interest
