Hello Everyone,

My company was not able to reply to notice issued under DRC1 for the period 2017-18. Hence the department (assistant commissioner of state tax) issued the demand order in form DRC07 for liability for payment. They have also charged interest and penalty on the tax liability calculated.

Though we agree the miss was from our side. We are pretty sure that if we provide all the replies and everything we do not owe anything. Is there a possibility that we open this file again? What are our options?

Try filing appeal with condonation..very slim chance it will be accepted but you can try

My opinion for your case
You will have to file the appeal during the condonation period and after that your appeal will be rejected and you will have to move the to the High Court.
