We are importing from USA & selling these products in India. This is a trading activity. I am facing dificulty in costing for freight amount at product Item level. We will be bring this on LLC. Please guide me in costing the product .
Since this freight cost will vary please let me if any standard or % is availiable .

If your talking about product costing, then the ideal process is to add up the actual freight cost paid to carriers. The freight cost may vary according to mode i.e Air or Sea.
You take out the actual freight cost paid along with all incidental expenses like customs clerance cost, transportation cost etc divide by no of units, then add to the product. You will get actual produt cost
