Quick Summary

This discussion addresses common JSON generation errors encountered when creating Form 145 and 146 files. Users are advised to ensure they are using the latest utility versions and to clean their Excel data by removing special characters and hidden spaces. Tools like Excel's CLEAN and TRIM functions, or the XLTOOL utility, can help validate and correct data before generating the JSON file to avoid portal rejection.

JSON generation or upload errors in Form 145 & 146 utilities are typically caused by using an outdated utility version, special characters in address/name fields, or incorrect date/numeric formatting. To resolve this, always download the latest utility version from the portal, strip out all special characters, clear hidden spaces from pasted cells, and systematically validate each panel before final JSON extraction.
