As on 26th of July, 2018 Notification came for extension the due date from 31st july, 18 to 31st Aug, 2018.

But unfortunately filing had been done Under sec 139(4) belated return as on 20th Aug 2018.

So please guide me whether those return is correct in the eyes of law?

If not, any precautions can possible?

I think technically there won't be any problem
Please wait till assessment order
No more problem for the selection of section...

I think, You ll check Your ITR Form once...
Dear Raja,
I have checked.
Can you elaborate what I need to found after checking?
No more problems for Your said mistake.... You check the ITR form (filed) return selected as 139(4) or 139(1). It's just my assumption may be it will changed... 😊

Now if you are going for revise than its comes only after due date only

You may file a revised return .
Yes manish, I also thought about that kind of precaution.

This will be a safe zone... No questions will raised..

Thank you.. 😊
Well... Better to revise without worries.
You're welcome .
One thing that I confused is,
While we need to put details on FILINGS STATUS where we use either, Voluntarily before the due date under section139(1)

or

in case of,belated, Voluntarily after the due date under section 139(4).

Point of my discussion is, Due date means as per law 31st of July for individuals.

In this AY (2018-19) due date has changed with notification, Is this sufficient to say Due date has changed.

And if I filed ROI after 31st july, shouldn't be as a belated?
