A welcome move from CBDT!!!!
After writ petitions being made to Delhi High Court, CBDT has decided to extend the due date of furnishing income tax return & tax audit report from 30th Sept’13 to 31st Oct’13.
The said CBDT order has been enclosed herewith reference.
From my understanding, the extension for filing the returns, is applicable only for companies with Tax Audit?
Companies without tax audit filing now, will still be considered as Belated return?

We should thanks to CA Swadesh Gupta & others( if any) who had filed the case for extension,& from these persons efforts this date is extend to till 31st Oct 2013.
Mr Unicon this date is extended for every type of assesse who comes under Tax Audit.
