Extension for CA industrial training

I have nine months left in my completion of articleship. I wanted to go for industrial training. Is there a way if I can do industrial training beyond my articleship completion date i.e. for 11 or 12 months instead of just 9?

P.s.: I can ask my current principle to mark leaves to extend my articleship.

Followup question: If I don't secure an industrial training this month (9 months of articleship remaining) but recieve an offer after 1-2 months, can I still go for industrial using the above mention method of extending articleship by showing leaves?

Please help it is urgent!!

You should check with your articleship mentor or training authority if extending by leave is allowed. Usually, extensions depend on their approval. Good luck!
