Export to nepal as a trader

685 views 1 replies

Hi,

We are based in mumbai and has got a warehouse in daman. We get our products manufactured from a toller and the product is labelled in our name.

So, we are acting like a trader in this case and my toller is charging excise duty for the products invocing it to me.

We do have a customer in Nepal and would like to send our material without excise duty.

conditions:

1. We do not want our toller to bill directly to our customer by giving ARE-1 form or so and do not want to disclose our customer details.

2. The Invoice to the customer has to be done by us and would like to clear this material wthout excise duty from our toller by saying that this material is going to Nepal

Experts please advice the best solutions.

1. in ARE1, you may not mention the name and address or customer, but you have to mention the country of destination.

2. ifrom the excise point , you can not disclose , as you have to submit the proof of export to division or maritime commissionerate.

3. while you take benefit of vat/cst you have to issue requisite forms to him , and there you have to annexe bill of lading/ truck receipt and shipping bill where name of customer is mentioned, at this point you are not saved.
