Export Procedure

A Ltd. has two manufacturing unit X & Y located in two different Excise Commissionerate Jurisdiction.

X unit wants to export goods under claim for rebate of duty. But it does not have required infrastructure at their plant to export material hence decided to go through Y unit.

That means they would send material to Y unit from where all the export procedure will be followed.

Queries:

1. Who will seal the material or container for Export (Which unit's excise officer)?

2. Where do refund claim will be filed?( X unit'division or Y unit'division).

3. Is there any general permission regard if yes then from whom?

Thanks in Advance

i assume that manufacturing for export is done at Y unit, then the answer fir your quires are as follows:-

I) the sealing can be done at the place of dispatch by Central Excise officer or you can also opt the option of self sealing.

ii) the refund claim will be filled AC/DC of Central Excise, who is having Jurisdiction of Y unit.

iii) Your quary is not clear.
