Export faciliation centre planned in Puducherry
PUDUCHERRY: An export facilitation centre (EFC) would be set up here to aid and assist entrepreneurs in export related activities.
The EFC, to be established by Puducherry Industries Promotion Development and Investment Corporation (PIPDIC) at a cost of Rs 2.09 crores, was part of implementation of various centrally sponsored schemes for infrastructural facilities, union territory Home and Industries Minister E Valsaraj said.
Laying the corner stone for a four-storeyed building to accommodate the EFC, he told reporters that building would come up in the next 15 months.
Managing Director of PIPDIC E.Vallavan was among those present.
