With a registered entity - Apply online for IEC – Importer Exporter Code with DGFT, and pay fee of Rs. 250 through electronic money transfer.
Please go to DGFT website and click on Apply for IECode and it's a very easy steps. Please keep ready 1. Scan Copy of Cancelled cheque and 2. Proof of address of the company. You have to upload these documents and pay fee of Rs 500.

You will get the IECode within minutes.

Import Export Code (IE Code) is a code issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) for the purpose of transacting goods and services to outside countries. The government or concerned authorities regulate all kind of foreign transaction through these IE Code. So every persons who have Export / Import business must take the IE code as part of the statutory compliance.

 

First you Obtain a Import Export Code (IEC)

Apply IEC by Online at DGFT Website

Document Required 

  1. PAN Card
  2. Cancelled Cheque
  3. Address proof and ID Proof of Business / Authorized Person
  • Aadhar Card

  • Driving License

  • Passport

  • Voters ID / Election Id

  • Photo of Authorized Person

  • Partnership Deed (if non individual and as applicable)

  • Certificate of Incorporation (if non individual and as applicable)
