hello cci members and experts i need your Guidance
i cleared my ipcc group 1 in may 11 and applied in big 4 for articleship. we all know due to high result in both nov and may there were very less or no vacancies there . though i had reference in ey and delloite . i gave interview in deloitte and ey both .
i directly gave technical round in deloitte and they selected me for the next round . which was 1 month back. they said it might take time due to sept( i.t) workload . now i am still waiting for my next round of interview i am still trying through my reference . and in ey i gave the hr and aptitude test interview 10 - 12 days but i dont think i would get selected there. but have high expectations in deloitte. in the meanwhile i have my group 2 in nov . i am preparing for the same .
since 31st oct is the last date to join articlehip in order to be elegible for may 14 attemt .
i am unable to understand what to do right now
my uncle is a ca . currently i am thinking if i do not get a reply from big 4 in this week . i will take signature/dummy from him now and after giving exams again try in big 4 through reference . and if still i do not get in big 4 max by this year i will take transfer in a mid size firm. because if i take articleship in mid size firm now i dont think they would give me leave for my 2nd group and most importantly may trouble in giving transfer afterwards .
now my questions are
1) if i take dummy now means get signature from him can i give starting date of my articleship as 20 aug 2011 . and submit the form along with late fees of300 . ( this would save me 2 months ) ?
2) are there any risks doing the above , like any action that institute can take . i absoultely do not intent to do dummy articleship for 3 years . i understand the importance of articleship . but want to start it after giving 2nd group and also do not want to delay my final attempt .
Please experts give me the right guidance
