Expenditure Allowed Or Not

Hi ;

We have stared business of gameing in last year for which we have made expeses but unfortunatly we have not made any sale throught the whole year.

Now income tax officer ask the question to prove that we have the business activity in the last year & all the expenses were made in the relation to that business.

So, can any one help me on this by providing any ref with relation to

- Circular or Notification

- Case Law's of similar kind situation & judgement made
