Looking at the level of exam papers, what would be the pass percentage for the CA Final Nov 2017 exams?

i think this time also pass percentage will be higher.

both groups : 23%

1st group: 19%

2nd group : 17%

Those who are facing difficulties from last 4-5 or more attempts will surely pass now.

Lol For second Group i am sure pass percentage will not be higher than 8% Cant aay abt first group

A lot of confusion. Papers for the second group were comparatively lengthy and tough. Fingers Crossed!!

Papers were tough. Second group was targetted. I feel marking will be lenient from ICAI. Both group will be around 16%.

Having given both groups this time, I would say the second group individually may be lower than before but both groups will be fairly low.

another thing to consider is the new demand in economy for CAs, after GST implementation.

Those who had patience at times of second group exams will definitely clear.. How?? Guyz this was a mind game.. Marks sab ke alag aaenge.. Jitna expected bhi nahi hoga usse kai jyada... ICAI KO IS BAAR JIGAR VALE CA CHAHIE. isislie tough paper nikal kar un bando ko chuna jo bina dare.. Bina hopes loose kie aaram se confidence se exams di.. Ab results ki bat kare to ye log jo ache se exam di wo log ko koi pareshani nahi hogi... Aise hi CA nai launch karenge.. Pehle khelo daav.. Bina dare.. Marks ki chinta kie bina.. Pass karne ki jimmedari icai ki.... A complete mind game played.. Second group ka result kam hoga lekin utna nahi..grace denge.. Kyu???? Because hamne perform kia without fear.. Choda nai bich me se.... Ji log pass ho ja rahe honge unko aggregate me problems nahi hogi

I mean to say if u got 40+ in all still u will clear..mazak kag raha hoga meri bat likhlo... Is bar bot dhamaal hone vali he

Abbasali - I got 40+ in each paper in group 2 in May 17 and yet failed aggregate by a mere 6 marks. This time my expectations are definitely a fully positive result for both groups as a whole...lets see

@ Abaasali - sahi bola yar aapne. first group to easy tha lekin jin logo ne 2nd group full confidence se diya na wo jarur pass ho jayenge. i feel the same.
