Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether expenses incurred on COVID-19 treatment are eligible for tax exemptions. While there isn't a specific deduction for COVID treatment itself, the conversation highlights that health check-up expenses are deductible up to £5,000 for self, spouse, children, and parents under Section 80D. A link to an article and a government order regarding potential exemptions are also provided for further information.

There's no such specific deduction as such in the income tax act however health checkup deduction is allowed as deduction upto rupees 5000 for self, spouse, children, and parents. under sec 80D
