Exemption in november 2017

I last appeared CA Final exams in november 2017 and got exemption in SFM. After that i had to start working and i couldn't attempt further. Now I am planning to appear in November 2019 CA final examinations. Will the exemption scored in 2017 still be in force?

no exemption is valid only for 3 attempts which means it will expire after may 2019 attempt
The exemption secured in an attempt is applicable for next three consecutive attempts. You won't be able to carry forward your exemption. Further you can verify whether your exemption is valid for any attempt by visiting icai's exam website https://icaiexam.icai.org/?utm_source=aubsp&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=www.aubsp.com&utm_term=exemption_status&utm_content=ca_exam
Yes for this attempt only you can get exemption. After may 19 exam it will lapse
