Hi All,

I have done my compuer training programme conducted by ICAI in SIRC, Chennai(ie)100 hours Programme). As per the new sylabus of ICWAI, CWA students are required to undergo computer training. Yes, U Dont Need to Attend Training Classes....But Give Examination Held By ICWAI

i think you cant get exemption in ICWAI.

Thank you ayush and ravi.

Just write the Exemption test of ICWAI...

Hi

I m Doing CWA FINAL ..

I completed my degree -B.Com (with computer Applications)..shall i eligible to get exemption from Computer training?

I don think Exemption s available..Can u provide the sourse Ayush n Ravi.

exemption is provided only those who have cleared "A" level of DOEACC Society , BCA,btech/be.MCA,Msc(IT)

your any CA training will not be accepted to icwai..

in practical, my friend doing ICWAI,  for claiming examption in Computer training,  he taken xerox copy of all his computer certificate ( none of the certificate mentioned the level), taken a DD for required amount and sent it to Kolkata office.

Now he got exemption for attending computer training.

So, simply says, if you are applied for exemption you can get, otherwise not.

Hi friends,

I am doing CWA inter group II... I am basicaly M.com (Commerce).. I think I don't have any exemption.  I want to finish my computer course.. Now I am working in a manufacturing industry, Hosur... I could not study my computer course in chennai institute..

can I study in private computer institute?

Will they accept my certificate in the ICWAI institute?

Can anyone help me pls?........

Hi. I am from Chennai. I have completed Group II of CWA Inter. I am working with a MNC and was deputed for over a year to Hyderabad for working on a very critical project. Hence I could not find time to complete the Mandatory 100 hours Computer Training. When I enquired about it with the CWA SIRC in Chennai, they said that without completing the computer training I will not be allowed to take the Inter Group I exams. I want to complete CWA Inter by December 2010. I don't know what to do as the batches for computer training have already started and going to get over. Can I do the course in private computer institutes like NIIT, CSC and get certificate from them? Will the certificates so obtained be accepted by the CWA institute. Is there any other way by which I can claim Exemption? Is it possible to get exemption using my work experience as I use compluters extensively for my work and I am already well versed with the syllabus prescribed for the computer training? Please reply as soon as possible as there is very little time left for submission of examination forms for the Dec 2010 exam.

Dear Mechatron I am also facing the same prblm i work somewhere and just cant put my entire day for some computer certificate course. What you did for it ?  u getting this practical training from ICWAI itself or you opted for some 3rd party solution like CMC or NIIT ????/

Even i am confused whether ca student gets ITT exemption from ICWAI if he already done 100 Hrs ITT Training Conducted by ICAI.

Any Circulars in this regard?
