Exempted goods
Would petrol be treated as exempted goods under GST? If yes, then why because till now it is not covered by GST.

Because government is getting more revenue from petrol.If has raised on petrol then there may be no much revenue to government. And govt getting revenue by levying sales excise on it
is petrol a non GST supply or exempt supply
Exempt. but when there is a notification by gst council.gst will be levied on those five goods
petrol and alcohal for human consumption are NON GST item and not exempted.
