In January 2024 GSTR1 return we wrongly showed EXEMPT supply instead of NIL RATED supply.
How do we rectify it.
Your advice will help me a lot.

Exempt supply instead of Nil rated

If you Can not amend the table 8 ( Nil rated , exempted supply) of GSTR 1 in the next month, or no such option to amend table 8, then I think you Can amend only in Table 5 of GSTR9 ( Annual return) . you have to note down this correction till the filling of Annual return.
Whatever mistake you make in GSTR 1 in whole year , you have an option to correct in Annual Return .
In next month GSTR-1 disclose the figures, show amount in nil rated and negative figure in exempted supply
Kindly amend its details in Table 5 of GSTR-9
But better to ammend in next month GSTR-1
