My Client is manufacturing and supplying MS CABLE TRAYS to his customers under Excise Tariff No.73089090. Customer insist to put Tariff as 84799090. I understand it is not possible to put 2 different tariff numbers for same products while filing Excise returns. Kindly advise how to convince the customer.

8479 DEALS WITH MACHINE AND MECHANICAL APPLIANCES HAVING INDIVIDUAL FUNCTIONS. THEREFORE IN MY OPINION, 73089090 IS CORRECT FOR MS CABLE TRAYS.
