culd u explain the sigmature thing

i am validating the file susing aces schema which had been provided & has the root element as ACES

If you are using previously downloaded format from ACES for the filing return, than my sugesstion is download format ACES again. As there may be some  changes which they should have done to the format because of which it may not get uploaded.

hello

the files gets uploaded sucessfully

but this is the error rec for rejection of the uploaded file

Return has been rejected for the following errors :

Technical Error has occurred. Please contact System Administrator.

If the return is rejected after you have uploaded it will be mainly due to validation errors.  If are unable to to find the correct reason than you contact helpline number 1800 425 4251 or email @ aces.servicedesk @ icegate.gov.in they will help you sorting out the issue.

wuld like to clear some queries i have reg the same before contacting them

the file is validated at our end using the aces xml schema given by them

if there are any errors as specified in the schema eg pan no is not as per the format specified i do get the error at my end when valadating

so i hope those r the only errors which we need to look in , or are there any other associated errors other then the schema file which we need to look in???

Please read below paragraph extraced from procedure for uploading returns through offline mode issud by department. As per below after uploading also it is subject certian validation checks. If return rejected it is due to validation errors.

Returns uploaded through this procedure are validated by the ACES before acceptance into the system which may take up to one business day. Assessee can track the status of the return by selecting the appropriate option in the RET sub menu. The status will appear as “uploaded” meaning under process by ACES, “Filed” meaning successfully accepted by the system or “Rejected” meaning the ACES has rejected the return due to validation error. The rejected returns can be resubmitted after corrections.

You have to generate the file through ACES provided software ( excel utility) only, you are trying to use your own utility and validating through aces software, but at the time of acceptance at aces server, server try to recognize the source of XML file, when server gets that such file is not generated from aces software, it rejects the file.

BEWARE

as the file is not recognized good by aces server, they are rejecting the file, assuming that somebody is trying to feed unwanted data to server, or trying to "encroach" unauthorized access to server,

such acts are to be seen under tempering of data and attempt to hack the server of ACES, for which you may have to face consequences.

Hello U S Sharma

as per ur  reply it seems that i need to close down my program

i really need help for the same , the xml file generated from my program is similar to that prepared by FPU . atleast it seems to be similar, is there any way out to implemnet the same

i had got a sample file from them and prepared in the same way, is there any reason to knw why its mandatory to use excel sheet provided by them though the XML file generated are similar

culd u do let me knw

you have to get "authorization" from ACES, to use your program, and they will provide their internal signature, there may be some restrictions and revenue clause between yourself and ACES to prevent misuse of program,

for further clarification get in touch with ACES.

hello

thnaks fr the reply

so as per u r reply its confirmed that currently i cnnot use the program developed without getting ACES permission inspite of the generated output is same,

Based on u r reply to contact ACES , will get back to you after initating communication with them

Thanks

Hello Mr Sharma

just i downlaoded a file from the https://www.aces.gov.in/Ret_FAQ.jsp

which states the below details

*
A new feature of XML Schema is introduced by which assessees can create XML based on the predefined XSD schema
Assesses who use their own software application can generate their Central Excise returns by using data available in their own database, after making necessary modifications in their software applications.

If any user has huge data to upload, instead of entering data manually, it can use its own application for generating XML using the XSD Schema, made available.

plz culd u clarify it

plz culd u clarify it

tried your given link and wasted my time, there is no such language on that site,

clear the matter with ACES please, as they are authorized collection desk for returns, and providing the software/pages for return.

b.   Using XML Schema for filing Dealers Return

Currently, the ACES Application allows on-line filing of Quarterly Returns by the Registered Dealers accessing the site www.aces.gov.in by using the excel utility. Some assesses who use their own software application in their offices find the process of manual entry of data in the excel format of Returns as a time consuming and avoidable exercise. A new feature of XML schema has now been introduced. Now using the schema, assessees, after making necessary modifications in their own software application, can generate their return from their application. Below mentioned steps elaborate the process to prepare, validate and upload the Dealer’s Return.

Steps to prepare the XML

Step 1: ACES application accepts the return in XML format. Prepare the Dealer return XML and validate it against the schema ACES_DLR.xsd provided.

Step 2: Login to the ACES application and upload the XML for processing. XML will be again validated against same XSD again before processing.

XML File only will be considered valid if it satisfies the requirements of the schema (predefined XSD) with which it has been associated. These requirements typically include such constraints as:

Elements and attributes that must/may be included, and their permitted structure

The structure as specified by regular expression syntax

Instructions for using the schema are given in detail in the Help section, under ‘Download’ link. Assessees are advised to follow them.

==========================================================

take a break

as you are interested to do something new, that does not mean that you have access control over the department and their system, they have own features, guidelines and acceptable mode of softwares available for public.

if you want to participate in their program, visit them, discuss your theme and if they feel it feasible they will approve it, don't try to twist between the lines,

the registration number you would be using must be of some poor fella who will have to bear all such consequenses of tempering the server and in result he may get blocked from his normal filing.
