I am working in a maufacturing concern now i have been given assignment of Excise duty payment and Return filing. Please someone give me an idea on what are the points to be kept in mind......?????I have certain query too:-
1) If output is Rs.100000 and Input is Rs.120000 then whether whole output can be adjusted against output or it is mandatory to pay some amount through PLA???
No it is not mandatory to pay thru PLA..if yoiu have already Excess Cenvat credit.....
And as regards to points to be checked pls refer to Excel Utility of ER-1(Instructions Sheet that may help u to prepare the return)
