I want to know is it mandatory to fill excise return of Pharma Manufacturing Unit in Excise Free zone of Himachal Pradesh. And if we failed to file the Excise Return within time what is Panelty on that and how can we file it.Can u give me Form for Filing Excise Return in normal condition / within time or after that what form should be applicable.

if the unit has multiple places of registration throughout india, then its mandatory to file return within time. failure of which may invite conficsation and penalty.
in such cases visit the range officer and describe the troubles and submit the returns ( NIL Tax), with request to accept the same, he is the authority to consider and condone the delay.
