Excise registration & exemption

Hi Every one,

I have started small Manufacturing Unit on rent for manufacturing of Corrugated Boxes used for packing of vegetables etc. 

My query is what is the T.O. limit where I can get exemption from registered with Excise Dept.?

my product  come under excise act and liable for excise.

If come under taxable then what is the procedure for Registration with Excise Act?

I want to know about SSI unit also for procedure of registration and benefit of same?
