Excise refund

A manufacturer of export goods can get his inputs without payment of central excise duty under rule 19(2) of central excise rules 2002. Input-output ratio should be informed to Assistant/Deputy Commissioner. Goods can be procured without payment of duty by following procedure prescribed under central excise rules.

Its better to persuade your supplier to sell the goods without levying excise duty. Because in India its a very tidious and time consuming task to get refund.
