We have imported one consignmnet of metal scrap and have booked under Excise Purchase. Subsequently, we issued a tax invoice and not excise invoice. We have filed the Dealer return. Does it create any problem?

I dont thinks so. The buyer of the material can't take CENVAT Credit on the basis of Tax/Commercial inoice.
