Manufacturing of fly ash bricks attracts ED @ 12% They are chargeable under schedule I. Tariff head is 6915 99 10. But units making turnover upto Rs.1.5 crores are exempted from excise duty.

Sir,
In this regard various fly brikes duty applicable @ 2%. If you confirmed the duty levied @ 12% there is no question. Further the SSi Exemption Limit Rs. 1.50 crore, if clearance is overdue Rs. 1.50 crore then duty is applicablke in this regard. If you having other observation in this regard plz forward the same.
