Excise invoice -usage - multiple series

Dear Sir(s),

Can we use 2 series of Excise Invoices for Domestic Sales, 1 is for Finished Goods another one is for Scrap Sales.

Actually I know that if we using multiple series of Invoices for Domestic & Export with same series, prior approval from the Jusrisdictional Asst/Deputy Commissioner of CEX.

Please clarify within Domestic sales it is possible or not?
