suppose any correction is made in Excise invoice , does it require to get it authenticated from respective range.

It is not required to get authenticate from jurisdictional Range authority provided that the Invoice should sign by your authorised signatory wherever rectification made.

assuming you are operating under SRP. no it is to be signed by the authorised person of your company , the name of which already given to range.

No authentication of Range officer required. But if a invoice is cancelled one should submit a copy of it to the Officer in 24 hr.

correction should be authorised by authorised person of company , not by officer range.

No need of range signature in case of correction authorised signatory can sign oncorrection made in the invoices Rgds Ramesh Kothari
