before hand you have to mention that you are paying duty from zero and availing cenvat benefit or not.

if availed then you have to issue challans for job work under CCR 2004 rule 4(5) and if not availing cenvat benefit then challan under notification no 214/86.

in case of sending goods direct to job worker without bringing into the factory, the rules may get tough and credit can be availed only after actual receipt of goods from job worker. co relation and existance of inputs should be identified in full in intermediate goods at the time of receipt, and if any scrap is generated in process then it should also have to be returned or cleared on payment of duty by job worker.

Thank you sir

but i actuly want to know how to put entry in excise books like RG Part -1 and Part 2 and Daily stock Register... how to mention in books pls explain me

in RG23A part 1 you have to enter the goods on actual purchase, then issue job work challan ..........

now if the goods are not brought in factory - then RG23A part 2 can not be entered untill the goods are received in full from job worker.

if goods are brought in factory then issued to job worker - you can take credit in RG23A part 2 then send to job worker.

2nd option is preferred, subject to the your accounting method and documents to establish that goods are  received in factory then issued for job work.

Thanks

Sharma Ji..... your information is good....... i have one more question

if i receiv semi finished goods from job worker than is again put entry in to RG23 Part 1 or not

RG23A part 1 is for inputs, not for semi fnish goods,

if you start to account the quantity and consumption of semi finish goods then you will get gripped under the provisons of "captive consumption"
