We had purchased certain equipments from various parties a few years back but these are now sent to the original sellers for certain repairing jobs at their end. Understand that there are 180 days criterion for getting the equipments back at own factory after repair.
Kindly guide about excise rules in this regard.

use repair challans and attach original excise invoice copy, for sending such goods, with mentioning that these goods are subject to return to buyer after "rectification/ repair" otherwise the manufacturer has to pay duty on clearance again.
