Excise duty on scrap of raw materials?

Thank you very much for your advice sir. But sir I personally met to excise department and came to know that we are not liable pay excise duty on scrap due to scrap turnover below 1.5 crore in a year. This information provided to me by excise personal.

So, Sir Is there any circular or any provision for excise exemtion related to turnover below 1.5 crore on scrap sale?

irrespective of job worker turnover, the principal manufacturer has to pay duty.
