Whether you have received that material from EOU unit, if so there will be two types of cess, Excise cess and customs cess. Eou's whoever does a clearance in DTA will be paying that duty .

You can avail cenvat for excise cess, if you are registered with central excise authorities.

the duty calculation will be like this.

Excise Cess 2+1 %

Customs Cess /Agg.Cess 2+1 %

Kindly ensure that whether you have received material from EOU or not .

On payment of Clean energy cess leviable on coal, lignite, and pit one cannot utilise CENVAT CREDIT nor on payment of such cess its CENVAT CREDIT BALANCE will increase.

NOTE: This is only for CLEAN ENERGY CESS.
