We have converted propritership to private limited company. In veiw of excise what procedure to follow for stock & plant & machinery transfer to private limited company. PAN is different so we have applied for new excise regisration.

Dear Rekha
1. You need to get PAN no in name of PVt ltd Only.
2. When you come to Excise matter, there is SSI Exemption limit till 1.50 lacks, Once you reach 90 lacks you need to give declaration to excise authourtiy.
3. There is a option to avail SSI Exemption.
4. Please refere www.CBEC.gov.in for excise matter.
5. Kindly go through the Notification no. 8/2003 and 9/2003 for SSI exemption and Option.

Yes, you need to apply for new registration and transfer the all goods in the name of new unit.
