Excessive service tax payment
Hi,
While paying the service tax, I ended up inserting an extra 0 in the end. I realized the mistake on seeing the challan. How can I claim the balance ? Considering that the quarter end is near.

You can adjust the excess service tax paid in next payment.
Thanks for your reply, Mayur. Is there any monetary/duration limit for the same ? Because I may take a few months to adjust this. Would it be fine to keep adjusting till the next financial year as well ?
Yes you can. There is no monetary/time limit.
