Exams for CAs

very nice idea. because there should ba a system to upgrade our knowledge. and ofcourse examinations are not only measurements to test our knowledge. But it should not be mandatory.

Hi Friends I think idea is not good in the sense that it is not practical. I am a member of ACCA as well and they have yearly CPD(Continuous Professional Development) requirement. In which all members need to gather 40 CPD units which is through attending seminars, any courses, by reading etc. you want believe even by playing golf if it is suitable and related to your employment. And at the end of the year a member needs to file CPD online return. I think this idea is great and very professional. I think ICAI should implement this idea ASAP to upgrade members knowledge and expertise. Good Luck. Yash
