These imho are the issues:

1. We are unable to decide coaching or self study for a particular subject and end up wasting valuable time

2. Too much importance given by students to past trends and marks distribution which can backfire in actual exam.

3. Being a long distance course just by studying on our own without discussion and interaction with peers can make exams really difficult.

4. An inborn fear that exams are difficult and a pessimistic approach to exam whose outcome is never optimistic.

5. Thinking taking tuitions are enough and not giving enough time for self study of even tuition subjects.

6. For people undergoing training thinking that just studying during leave period is sufficient.

7. Complacency towards a particular subject.

8. And last but not the least, procrastination.
