What should be suggested for preparation of exam....Study material, Practice manual or reference book?

For costing I suggest you also do the study material along with the practice manual.
For accounts, you can go through the illustrations in the study material as it is again good quality and helps build conceptual clarity. The fm study material although is more theoretical than practical, so going for a reference book would be a good option.
