If the distance between the place of supplier and transporter is upto 50 kms within the State, then vehicle details is not required in Part-B of EWB.
- Third Proviso to Rule 138(3)
If the distance is more than that, then generate EWB with supplier vehicle details and update the vehicle details later.
Also read with eway bill rules for specific state. distance 50km is not mandatory, it may be less
It's simple put the ID of Transporter In B part & vehicle No. by its being sent to transporter place .
By putting the ID of transporter , the transporter can access that Eway bill online & for further supply can update the vehicle no. too.
