My assessee had purchase some scrap from a party of Chennai and sold the same at chennai to other party.
1. Now, the party from which the assessee had purchased the goods had said that you have to issue an eway bill or you have to take a registration in Tamil Nadu otherwise they will generate an invoice as unregistered dealer. Whether his contention is correct.
I have made a reply since the the movement of goods is in the same state thus the assessee is not required to generate eway bill and you have to issue a invoice by charging IGST and made an invoice on billed to and shipped to concept.
Yet, our problem is not resolved and thus i have seeking an advice from you.
Pls provide the better advice regarding this matter as soon as possible.

Yes , For the movement of goods value exceeds the 50k, the ewaybill is mandatory (interstate), E-way can be generated by U or by ur supplier,
.As to ur query , If in Tamil nadu there is no e-way on intrastate then in ur case supplier can directly deliver the goods to ur customer who is in Tamil Nadu , without generation of e-way bill, because in this case the movement is within the state.
Just Ask ur supplier to make a bill :. Bill to ur address MP,. & Ship to Ur customer Address in Tamil Nadu.

I already made the same facts that supplier have billed to me and consigned to my customer but they didnt agree with that.
