If one is sending some item from any state (s.a. Maharashtra - Mumbai city) to Karnataka (Bangalore city), such as, for gifting purpose or even personal use, does one still need to fill eSugam ? The courier companies are asking for it, but it seems pretty counter intuitive. Is there any alternative ?

However, I can find no official source of this information. Also, what is the format of "Declaration" ? Is "invoice" actually required to be provide in addition, or is it an option ?
