In Journal :

Dr Salary Account - Rs. 1000
Cr. Salary Payable (Mr. X) - Rs. 1000


Salary Payable - Rs. 1000
To Cash / Bank - Rs. 825
To ESI Employee Contr @ 1.75% - Rs. 175


Employer Contribution will be accounted in PandL Account...
