ESIC to be deducted from both

As per ESIC Law, ESI required to be deducted is gross Salary or Wages doesn't Exceeds Rs. 15000/- PM

Yes limit for esi is Rs.15000/- employer has to deduct 1.75% of basis salary from employee and is 4.75% from his Owen pocket .... if employees salary is upto Rs.1500/- per month then only employers part to be deposited. I.e. no need to deduct 1.75% from employee s salary.
its really usefull.....thanks

1.75 % from gross salary  but salary does not rs 15000 PM
