Hey Md Anzar! The Mahavat registration system can be a bit tricky sometimes. Here’s what you can do to resolve your issue:

  1. About the TIN column on the “register as inactive or cancelled dealer” page:

    • You need to enter the old TIN number that was associated with your cancelled or inactive dealer registration. This is usually the previous tax identification number you had before cancellation.

    • If you don’t have it handy, check any old communication or documents related to your previous registration or contact the helpdesk for this specific detail.

  2. If you don’t have a valid TIN or it’s not recognized:

    • Try raising a ticket again on the Mahavat portal explaining that you do not have a valid TIN or that it is showing cancelled and you are unable to register.

    • Attach any proof of cancellation or prior registration.

  3. Follow up on username/password email:

    • Sometimes the mail may land in your spam or junk folder, so double-check there.

    • If you still haven’t received it after 24-48 hours, keep following up with the support team or try calling their helpline if available.

  4. Clear browser cache or try a different browser:

    • Sometimes technical glitches can be resolved by clearing cookies or switching browsers.

  5. Keep a screenshot of the error page and any communication for reference.
