Dear Sir,
After completing all Schedules, and downloading the Preview, when I proceed to verify my return (ITR-3), I get an error message " Maximum length should not exceed 14 characters."
The error does not specify its location. I have checked all input figures, specially in Schedule 112A, but could not locate the error spot. Kindly help
Download the latest utility. The error has been removed in the latest utility.
It is same error even in latest utility v1.0.9....no response on grievance either from ITD
We encountered the error earlier, but not with new utility. So, re-start filling data with new utility, without fetching the earlier filled data, it works.
means we cant use draft ITR...so do we do data refilling in offline mode or works only under online mode ?
I used the latest utility dt. 17th August i.e. 1.09. All data entry done in this utility only.

As said earlier, we had encountered the problem earlier. Rather waiting for resolution from CPC end, we chose the said alternative path and solved the issue. Well, we are working on offline module, with prefilled data downloaded form the site. Even uploaded some HUF returns without much difficulties.
Result is same in utlity dated 17.08.21,same error
There is no provision of naming any file manually. Not able to get the point.
