Hello members,
An Assessee has income from salary has filed his income tax return for the a.y 2017-2018 with out claiming HRA and other Sec 10 allowances, which leads to tax due. He has been issued 143(1) intimation by CPC. Now Time limit for revised return has expired.
Please suggest the best way to rectify the return.

Have you tried revising return U/s. 139(5) for AY 2017-18?
I have revised it in May, 2018......
