Dear All,
Suppose a company had registered itself under EPF Act w.e.f Jan 2008.But the PF office requires the PF to be covered from Nov 2007 onwards requiring inclusion of sweeper.The company got the registration number only in May 2008.The company had already remitted the dues for Jan-Mar 2008 excluding the payment for the sweeper.Now while submitting the return for year 2007-08 will there be a problem?

Firstly, you need to pay the PF for November and December 2007 alongwith the PF of sweepers.
Secondly, you need to pay the PF of sweepers (if not paid) for January 2008 to March 2008.
You need to include all the PF Payable and paid for November'07 to February'08 (to be paid in March 08) in annual return in Form 3A/6A. While paying the additional PF for the same period you need to mention the Challan No. 2 or supplementary challan.
