Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies that you can indeed apply for Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees' State Insurance (ESI) registration online independently. For beverage manufacturers, the primary business activity typically falls under the 'factory' category. The thread also provides a detailed definition of a 'principal employer' as per the ESI Act and mentions that registration is completed via the Shram Suvidha portal.
