who can open an EPF A/C,and whom it is applicable

An Employee can subscribe to EPF account, while others can open PPF account......
can employee subscribe to a/c without employer contribution?
If the employer is liable for EPF regulations, he is liable to deposit his own contribution alongwith employees share.
Otherwise you cannot directly contribute in it.
