Dear All
I am going to file my income tax return for the first time. how should I pass entry in tally of salary+incentive income.
please help.

As we know salary for the month of Mar( PY) will be received in the month of Apr ( FY). Since I am filing my return for the first time so should I carry opening balance in salary a/c or what??

hello sweta,
I think you are asking about entry of your salary receipt in tally, while in tally we make entry for our business transaction for knowing our business income. so there is no need to make any entry of salary transaction in tally. besides this when you file your return you will have to show your salary income in salary head separately from business income
